In the Spring semester of 2022, I took the ATLAS course The Meaning of Information Technology (ATLS 2000). For the course's final project, I worked with my peers Ananya Tandel and Brittany Weaver to identify a common problem on the internet and design a solution. We chose to focus on cancel culture and the spread of misinformation online and developed a website that could fact-check rumors from the internet.
